About Florida Air Duct Cleaning

We connect homeowners in Florida with licensed, insured air duct and dryer vent companies. We are not a contractor ourselves, and this page explains exactly what that means for you.

What we do

When you call, we take a short description of the problem and your ZIP code, and put you through to a licensed company that covers your area. That introduction is the whole of our role.

We work throughout Florida. The guidance on this site is written per town rather than once for the whole state, because where the ductwork is and how hard the system runs genuinely differ across it.

How we are paid

The companies pay us for the introduction. You do not pay us anything, and there is no charge or obligation attached to calling.

That is worth stating plainly rather than burying, because it is what a reasonable person would want to know. It also sets the limit of what we can promise: the price, the schedule, the work and any guarantee are agreed between you and the company that attends. We are not party to that, so we do not make commitments on their behalf.

What we will not do

We do not tell you your ducts need cleaning when they do not. The EPA's position is that routine duct cleaning has no demonstrated health benefit, and that it is warranted where there is visible mold, evidence of vermin, or enough debris to be released into the rooms. This site says so on every relevant page, which is unusual in this trade and is deliberate.

We do not publish prices. A range quoted on a web page is not a figure the attending company has agreed to, and quoting one invites you to hold them to something they never said.

We do not publish reviews or star ratings. We have no verified reviews of our own, and inventing them — or borrowing somebody else's — would be dishonest. If that changes, real reviews will appear here and nowhere else.
